AXE THROWING LLANDUDNO WALES
Sessions are £19 per person. This includes an hour in the cage and a full safety briefing before your session starts!
You can book online here, over the telephone, or by popping in.
Larger groups can be split across multiple cages, and we’ll do our best to keep groups in adjacent cages to each other.
Absolutely we do! Axe-throwing is a PERFECT activity for Stags, Hens and corporate events.

Players must be at least 12 years old, anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Bookings with up to 6 throwers can be refunded or rescheduled up to 72 hours before the start of the session. Bookings with 7 or more throwers can be refunded or rescheduled only if 10 days notice is given.
Safety is our utmost priority at Johnny Throws. We provide comprehensive safety briefings, and our trained staff is always vigilant to ensure all safety protocols are adhered to.
We advise flat, comfortable shoes. Open-toed footwear and high heels are not permitted.
Fancy dress is fine as long as it doesn’t offend our other guests. If you turn up in offensive clothing you will not be permitted on site.
No. We take good care of our axes to ensure they are safe and effective. And we do insist on a level playing field, no pikes or spears either!
You can bring people to the venue but only those who have booked will be permitted into the cages.
Johnny Throws is a human-only venue, sorry!
There is no on-site parking. You’ll need to park on a nearby street (parking on Upper Mostyn Street is time-restricted) or at one of the numerous pay and display car parks nearby. The council website has more information on parking in Llandudno.
We are a fully licensed venue with a great range of bar snacks. If you’re really hungry, we’ll order you a Johnny Dough’s pizza from just down the street. They cook in 3 minutes flat!
Of course! Axe-throwing isn’t a high-intensity sport, but you should consult your doctor or midwife before making a decision. Especially during the latter stages of pregnancy.
